As a graphic designer who has been
in the wedding invitation industry for more than eight years, I
have seen my share of trends. This season, Weddings are all about
the colour purple!
Purple has been popular in high
fashion, home accessories and now seeps down into wedding styles as
seen in modern and bold damask prints, silk ribbon, and wax seals.
"Regal and mysterious, purple is a glorious yet very complex
colour, preferred by very creative and eccentric types," states
Pantone's Book - A guide to communicating with colour. Commonly
paired with black, grey or cream, [...]

What Moving Stories does is not the
'traditional' approach. Each couple is special, and Moving Stories
tries to bring out what is special in each of their relationships.
They do this by encouraging them to do interviews so they can find
out things about each other straight from them or their close
friends and family. Things like how they met, why they will succeed
as a couple, and some questions about how they know each other.
Moving Stories then take these interviews and cuts them with the
footage collected during the [...]

When the bride is walking down the
aisle to her groom it's definitely all about her, but that doesn't
mean you can't look your pretty and sassy best too.
So what to wear you may ask?!? Well
for many destination weddings in particular, it can be even more
difficult to choose as you won't have your entire wardrobe
available to you once the plane's wheels have left the ground.
More often than not, invitations
will have the dress code stated right on the invitation, so first
off, [...]

Wanting to go a little on the
wild side? Then introduce a bohemian vibe to your wedding with some
magenta, purple, golden yellow and sky blue. Work that little bit
of whimsy in with your cake, your invitations by using personal
touches, colour and design or in your flowers. Use a lot of colour
and optimism, it's your wedding. A time to celebrate after all,
it's not all doom and gloom out there. The Bohemian Bride
definitely gives out a positive, colourful, creative energy vibe.

Ethnic inspired weddings are known for their glamour and glitz.
Indian style incorporates jewels, bright colors and exotic fabrics.
These accents are found in everything from the traditional bridal
sari to the dcor. There is no greater event in Indian culture than
a wedding, and the extravagance of their celebration illustrates
this. Indian couples that tie the knot in Canada usually adopt some
Western traditions for their affair, for example, the wedding cake
adapted from Western culture can now be found at many Indian
celebrations. Why not let other cultures inspire you and add to the
excitement of your day?

process is not as easy as it once was. With wedding parties getting
bigger and bigger many of today's grooms are planning further
ahead, because there are more people to co-ordinate. How to make it
easier? Read on for tips on renting your formalwear!
