If there are only
two times in his life that a man will have to dress in a formal
suit or tuxedo, it would be his high school graduation and his
wedding day. Although most guys are completely against it, in the
immortal words of Barney Stinson, it's time for them to "suit
up!".

Tuxedos are
always a classic option, and is formal wear at it's best. It gives
a man a simple, elegant, and debonair look, a throwback if you will

There are five
main parts that constitute a bride’s wedding day look – the dress,
the shoes, the undergarments, the hair, and finally the jewelry.
Although most brides think about the first four in great deal, some
tend to overlook the last choice. The problem is though that the
jewelry they wear can make or break your outfit. Too much and it
will overshadow the dress you spent hours searching for, and add up
to a gaudy look. Too little and it may not give your entire
appearance that little extra glitz that it needs. Although

When it comes to weddings, the reception is the
biggest overall expense. It encompasses the location, the
possibility of feeding all your guests, drinks, dancing, and just
the general party you want to be hosting in order to finish the
celebration of your big day off right. Last week I had the chance
to meet up with a good friend of mine for lunch. Tamara is
currently in the midst of planning her nuptials, which is going to
be taking place next September in Banff, and I was able to pick her
brain on [...]

Now, this is going to be a departure from the usual wedding
planning postings. Instead, I'm going to introduce you to one of
Bridal Fantasy's favorite authors, Gail Vaz-Oxlade. Oxlade is a
Canadian financial writer and television host of such shows like
Princess and Til Debt Do Us Part, who gives out her no-nonsense
approach to financial situations.

In her newest book, entitled Money-Smart Kids, Oxlade
writes all about starting your kids off on the right financial
path. Like all parents, you want your kids [...]

If you were at our recent Bridal Fantasy Bridal Show in
Edmonton, then you would have been surrounded by hundreds of
different fantastic vendors. And if you weren't? Well, you
definitely missed out. From wedding cakes to DJ's, reception ideas
to hair salons, Bridal Fantasy really did offer the upcoming bride
with the be-all and end-all of resources to help them with the
planning of their big day. However, there was one such photographer
that really captured my attention.

New Image Creations is an Edmonton-based photography company
that was started by a guy named [...]

Among the rows of vendors at the
Bridal Fantasy Bridal Fair, you are used to seeing stands about
cakes, reception ideas, honeymoon hotspots, and even dresses.
However, this year, Bridal Fantasy had a new addition to its
vendors - Camper's Village!
Camper's Village is a premiere
outlet for the active individual or family, and they offer a wide
selection of products and services, which promote an active
lifestyle outside. While some couples enjoy the quiet things in
life, a lot more young, active couples are beginning to get
married. They [...]

When going to a wedding, it's
typically customary to bring some sort of gift. Usually the happy
couple will register at a useful store, with a list of the things
they want or need, and guests from the wedding can purchase them.
Usually these places stores, like The Bay, Campers
Village, Bed Bath and Beyond, Home Outfitters and Sears to name a few, all with the intentions of buying
the bride and groom that lovely crystal bowl which they can serve

The date has been set, the invitations mailed out. The
bridesmaids and groomsmen have been chosen, and colors decided
upon. All of these things provide you a general idea of what your
day is going to look like, but when your guests walk into that
ceremony, what do you want them to see?
Over the years I've gone to my fair share of family weddings,
and as I'm getting older, I've started getting more invites to dear
friends of mines special days. And the one thing that remains
consistent throughout is the ceremony decorations.

As much as I love fashion, trends seem
to be going through a revolving door. Pieces and styles that were
popular 15 years ago seem to be consistently making a comeback. For
instance, in today’s society you might look around the room and see
flare-legged jeans coming back, shoulder pads in boyfriend blazers,
fedoras, tapered pants, oxford shoes, wide black rimmed glasses.
Everything revolves, albeit with slight and subtle differences to
make things neater, but things are essentially the same.
In today’s celebrity culture, things are
taking a step back [...]
