A Perfect Lakeside Proposal...

Andrea & Shaun ~ October 5,
2013
Shaun and I have been dating for
just over 6 years and always knew we would end up together in the
forever kind of way. Shaun wanted to make sure the day was special
and one that I didn't expect and would remember for the rest of our
lives. Back in September he suggested a trip to Jasper for my
Birthday weekend. We both love skiing and being in the mountains so
I agreed and immediately loved the idea! When [...]

Gina & Eric ~
8/11/2012
Since Eric and I are in a long
distance relationship, I was thrilled for Eric to come out to see
me and go on our very special two year date. Eric had planned a fun
date for two in Regina. We normally exchange gifts in the
beginning, but Eric said that his gift would have to wait, thinking
nothing of it, I said, "okay!" The day began. We went out for lunch

Enter to Win!
It all started last July when Reed Palmer, the
owner and designer of Soleil Shoe
Company , attended a wedding. He saw the bride and bridesmaid
had kicked off their heels and were all dancing barefoot at the
reception. Dancing barefoot in dresses that cost hundreds of
dollars!
He thought to himself "there
has to be a more practical and fashionable solution." He designed a
ballet flat that can roll or fold to fit into your clutch or purse
for [...]

The Edmonton Examiner Reviews Glowing
Performance: Despite its
name, The Drowsy Chaperone should keep audiences wide awake and
entertained. "It's actually a musical within a comedy," director
Max Reimer says. "The (character) Man in Chair tells the story of a
20s musical (that) actually materializes before the eyes of the
audience." According to Reimer, The Drowsy Chaperone is about
a showgirl that is getting married but she and the groom are both
getting cold feet. In fear of losing the showgirl in the
entertainment industry, gangsters [...]

Take the
Time.... before you buy, try on as many different styles
as possible...gowns look different on your body type versus hanging
on a hanger...walk around and sit down...make sure it's
comfortable...shop as soon as possible...gowns are ordered and are
not always readily available right away, some made to measure can
take six to twelve months. Trying on wedding dresses can be one of
the most daunting experiences a bride faces. You allow yourself to
be swept up in a whirlwind of love and romance in [...]

Burned bride “ looking for
some more colour before your day and spent too much time the in the
sun? Skin care experts all agree that tanning needs to be done in
moderation and brides shouldn't tan three days before the wedding
“ giving the change for any redness to reduce. However, if your
skin is looking more like a tomato than the brown you were looking
for, counteract that [...]

Mexico - just thinking the name
calls up images of beautiful beaches and incredible culture. Mexico
offers something for everyone wanting to get married abroad. It is
great for those wanting the fairytale beach wedding, or those
wanting a wedding full of culture, or those just wanting to get
away from it all. Mexico fits most every budget and is great for
groups. Imagine water so clear, you can see to the bottom from
almost anywhere. That is the backdrop to the white sand that your
bare feet are standing in. [...]

A lot of today's brides try to
do everything themselves - turning them from a sweet girl into a
Bridezilla! If you don't want this label to be applied to you keep
one thing in mind - DELEGATE. Don't try to do everything yourself.
Otherwise you will feel stressed out and not be able to enjoy all
the things that go along with planning your wedding day.
- The gift table: the place to receive gifts brought the ceremony
and reception. Your helpers can also have a car parked close by and

Sending out your invitations
is the first contact you have with your wedding guests. They will
reflect the style and theme of your wedding day. Invitations are
generally sent out six to eight weeks before the wedding. You will
need to have your venues booked and your guest list
finalized.
Invitations should be ordered
three months prior to your wedding day. They normally consist of
the invitation, the envelope, [...]

So you've picked out (or the
bride has) what you are wearing on the big day. What about all the
other events that surround your wedding day? The rehearsal dinner,
the bachelor party, the wedding rehearsal, the gift opening and
your honeymoon. Many factors play into these events such as
location, type of event, appropriateness and of course the personal
considerations.
