Edmonton has a
lot of different Nightclubs, with so many choices it can be hard to
decide which one you want to go to on the weekends!
There are three
clubs that stand out to us because of their casual,
just-for-Albertains attitudes and commitment to serving up a damn
good time. For all the cowboys and girls out there, The Ranch
Roadhouse and Whiskey Rock have the right kind of party for you,
and for everyone else, Union Hall Nightclub is the place to party,
no matter what style of clothing you wear.

Father's Day is a truly special day
where, despite our busy schedules, we still take the time to honor
and show our appreciation for our fathers and those who have been
father figures in our lives. But when it comes to buying gifts,
I've always found it difficult to shop for my father as he is such
an unmaterialistic man.
If you haven't planned anything
yet, cooking for your father is always a hit especially if it's his
favorite dish. I guess the saying that "the [...]

The first time I ever wrapped my

If you've ever been to a wedding, you know that the conventional
guest book idea is one that usually ends up containing very
repetitive messages and entries from guests. For some people, being
put on the spot like that can be quite nerve wracking and they
often just use the same message of the last guest.
To inspire your guests to just speak from the heart, here are
some simple but creative ideas for a guest book-type concept!
1. Fingerprint

Anyone who's ever watched Disney
movies, especially Cinderella or Snow White surely has dreamt of
one day becoming a Princess Bride and living happily ever after
with her Prince Charming.... I know that when I watched these films
as a little girl, I wished for a pumpkin carriage, a beautiful
magical gown and of course, my true love sweeping me off my feet.
Despite the fact that Disney is essentially only a make believe
cartoon, the ability to identify with characters, get drawn into
the story and emotionally connect with the events is truly
amazing!

Wills is Royally
Fashionable...

So much hype and excitement has
surrounded Kate's wedding and after party dresses for the last two
weeks (long live McQueen!) but that still leaves us wondering more
about Prince William and his choices for Royal Wedding gear. The
online search for details on the future King's RW after party
tuxedo was a scouring mission proving that exquisitely stylish Kate
stole the spotlight and most were only interested in what the now
Duchess of Cambridge wore on their big day.
Now that a lot of [...]

Finally, the
moment we have all been waiting for – we have SEEN the DRESS!
Speculations were that Kate’s dress would be simple and classic and
they were right. Fashion experts predicted that Kate’s dress would
be created by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen and they too, were
right. Kate looked divine in her ivory and lace dress with its
elaborate design, combining a hand-embroidered floral overlay, a
full veil and a train that was nearly nine-feet long. It is a
fantastic representation of [...]

History of Engagement Rings
Engagement rings have always been a
symbol of a loving bond and even historically, have had a place in
our society. The earliest engagement rings were often created out
of thread or rope. In Roman times, iron rings were used to indicate
the intent to marry and later on, rings were made out of precious
metals.
In the western world, it is a
custom to wear the engagement ring on the left hand ring finger. In
other parts of the world, this varies considerably. In Ukraine, it
is common for the engagement [...]

Do It Yourself, or DIY is a fun way to personalize your wedding.
From invitations, to decor, flowers, favours and even dresses,
there are do it yourself opportunities for brides who have the
time, interest, and motivation to explore them. Here are a few
ideas Bridal Fantasy has come across recently: 1) This is a great
DIY initiative because it doesn't require the bride to do any of
the "DI" ing. When an overseas wedding meant that some freinds and
family couldn't make it, this couple invited their friends to
create peices of art to be sent over and included in the
special day.
