After the tragic wild fires in Slave Lake this last May, Shayne Carroll and Nicole Seatter lost their home, their wedding venue, and watched as their wedding plans literally burn up in flames.
However, after their interview with CTV News, hope was restored as nearby communities and wedding businesses were moved by the couple's touching story. So with the help of the amazing Cheri Tetreault (WPICC Wedding and Event planner), she made sure that the couple's dream to exchange their "I Do's" still came true. And in just over three weeks, Shayne and Nicole walked down the aisle at Eagle Rock Golf Course in front of their friends and family.
And to top off their amazing wedding story, celebrity country singer Paul Brandt flew in from Calgary just to serenade the two with an acoustic rendition of 'I Do'. He definitely made for another amazing memory to add to the their perfect wedding day.
The dream wedding would not have come true without the help of numerous other businesses such as Sitting Pretty Events (Decor), Marlow & Richards (Bouquets & Flowers), Starlight DJ Services, Edmonton Hotel & Conference Centre, Mabelyn Fehr Cake Artist, Adara Hair & Body Studio (Hair), LaCasa Salon & Spa (Make-Up), A Timeless Celebration (Toronto Company - Chair Sashes), Red Thread Paper (Toronto Company - Invitations & Stationary), and Eagle Rock Golf Course and Eagle's Nest Catering who generously donated the rehearsal dinner, champagne reception and wedding ceremony site.
Bridal Fantasy is truly touched that such a beautiful miracle came true.
