Not just your average stay in the mountains...

Well Shaun took me to Canmore and Banff and he had booked us a room at the most amazing hotel called Stoneridge located in Canmore. We had been to Banff and Canmore before on our first weekend as a couple and gone up the Gondola and everything! However ,I wanted to take Shaun to see Bow Falls when it was frozen. So we had gone back. It was quite a task getting Shaun to go up the Gondola the first time as he is scared of heights so I was very shocked when he said he wanted to go up it again. So we went on the Gondola to the top and were on the observation deck, and it was basically flooded with all the snow that had melted. I was desperately trying not to walk in the ice cold water when Shaun called me over to him. I went over and some people came up to the top, so he said lets go over here! At this point I'm getting annoyed because it was silly to be up there again. We walked to the other side away from the people and he said "well I'm looking forward to being dry again!" I was very confused because all in all we weren't wet but the wind was blowing so it was cold. I responded by saying "Sweetheart don't you mean warm again... you aren't wet!" "Nope I mean dry" He then knelt down in the ice cold water and pulled the ring out of his pocket and asked me to marry him! After I had said yes he had some regrets on the location he had chosen to propose because the ice cold water was running down his leg into his sock.
