Every little part of your look has to be picture perfect for your special day. From your head to your toes, you need to look prim and proper.

Nails can be a tricky thing to decide on. Everything from colours, to design, even the medium you use can send you into a frenzy of confusion and stress. 

 Here's a quick guide on fun fingernail frills:

1. If you have nice nails naturally, get a manicure. Plain and simple will do the trick. If you go to a place like Q-Nails (locations throughout the Edmonton area), they can do different kind of nail art if your nails are long enough.

2. It's a safe bet to have a French manicure, just to keep things elegant. But adding a pop of colour can be fun too - but try to keep it in tune with your wedding's colour scheme.

3. If you don't have very healthy or long nails - like me - go for some gel or acrylic nails. Most nail salons have the tools to do this. One plus of this is that they will not chip - you won't have to do touch-ups the day of, or even the night before your wedding.

4. There are also more options for nail art. Everything from hand-drawn designs, to airbrush techniques can add some flare to your nails. They can even add jewels to your nails to make you glisten just a little but more.

5. Again, adding colour is a great way to bring some oomph to your look, but keep it simple, and keep it similar to your wedding's colour scheme. You don't want things looking too busy, or have things clash.

6. Looking at cost, manicures will be cheaper, probably around $20-$25. Acrylic and Gel nails can start from $35 and up, depending on your design or other additions you make to your nails. Whatever you do, keep it simple, keep it fresh, and keep it fun. Don't go overboard, don't make it busy, and don't clash with your décor!
