Well, Facebook's one and only Mark Zuckerberg shocked everyone this weekend when he tied the knot with long-time college sweetheart, Priscilla Chan. Chan, 27, and Zuckerberg met at Harvard at a frat party, where she was received her Bachelor of Science in Biology. She then spent two years teaching elementary sciences before attending medical school. Chan had just graduated from San Francisco School of Medicine this weekend, and the guests believed they were attending a graduation party...SURPRISE! It was a small, backyard wedding.
Although Zuckerberg is a well-known billionaire, you wouldn't know it by this wedding. This low-key event had less than 100 attendants to witness the nuptials of this nine year relationship. On top of that, Chan wore a beautifully modest gown by Claire Pettibone called "Sky Between The Branches". According to the designer's website, the gown goes for a mere $4,700. Sure, that could be expensive to some...but not to Mark Zuckerberg's bride! Although, we must admit, it's nice to see a gorgeous gown that is not obscenely priced, and a millionaire not dying to flaunt his cash. Even though Billie-Joe Armstrong of Green Day was the wedding singer, it didn't cost Zuckerberg and Chan a dime. In fact, it was Armstrong's gift to the glowing couple.
