Contest Rules and Regulations
- Agreement: No purchase is necessary to enter to win the 2015 Buick Enclave. The act of entering the Contest Constitutes acceptance of the contest rules and the decisions of the Contest Judges. By entering the contest you are becoming a member of Derks Fine Group of Companies and will receive communications, which you can unsubscribe from at any time.
- Sponsors: The Contest Sponsors are Derks Fine Group of Companies and Sherwood Buick GMC.
- Eligibility: All contests are open to Canadian residents (excluding residents of Quebec) who are the age of 18 or older, except for employees, immediate families and anyone living with any employee or their corporate affiliates, advertising or promotional agencies. Limit of one entry per person for a complete registration. Illegible entries, bulk drop offs, photocopies, scanned copies, facsimiles or other mechanically or electronically reproduced entries will not be accepted and will be disqualified. All potential winners must correctly answer a mathematical Skill Testing Question and adhere to lessee rules and regulations before being awarded a prize.Contest Closes March 15, 2015 at approx. 3:30 pm MST. Online entries close March 31, 2015 5pm MST. The draw will be made at the Sherwood Buick GMC showroom. Must be a Canadian resident over the age of majority to enter in your province or territory of residence, excluding Quebec. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received. Please Note: The Draw Date is subject to change should any of the Sponsors decide to.
The prize includes a one year lease on a 2015 Buick Enclave valued at $45,510 MSRP. Prize awarded as is, no substitutions, no cash value. Vehicle not exactly as shown; winner must comply with lease rules 24,000 kms per year. Winner will be charged 20 cents per kilometre for each km over the limit. The vehicle must be returned with normal wear and tear as per Buick’s Car Financial Lease Guidelines. Winner will be charged for major damage or for a complete detail, if required. Winner is responsible for purchasing his/her own insurance with the following coverage.
The lessee must maintain the following min insurance coverage:
Public liability: min coverage of 1,000,000
Collision: maximum deductible of 1,000
Comprehensive: maximum deductible of 1,000
2015 Buick must be named as lessor in all lessee insurance policies or endorsements and registration.
Release: Prior to receiving the prize, the winner will be required to show valid photo ID, driver’s license and to sign an affidavit of eligibility and release form releasing the sponsors of all liability, confirming compliance with the rules and consenting to the use of his or her name and photograph, without further compensation, in any publicity carried out by Derks Fine Group of Companies and/or the sponsors and/or their advertising and promotional agencies.
Banning: The sponsors may, in their sole discretion, prohibit any person from entering any contest who they believe to be abusing the rules. Such abuse includes entering false information and any action the sponsors deem as abuse.
Other: All decisions of the contest judges are final. Contests are governed by the laws of Canada applicable therein. The sponsors reserve the right to cancel or modify any contest or the contest rules at any time without notice. All prizes must be accepted as awarded, are non-transferable and are not convertible to cash. The sponsors reserve the right to substitute any prize or portion of the prize with a prize of equal or greater value. All prizes are awarded as-is and no warranties or guarantees are implied or expressed, beyond the standard manufacturer’s warranty. The odds of winning depend on how many eligible entries are received. Sponsors are not liable for any lost or stolen entries or inability to process entries, or any errors, damage or negligence that may arise in connection with this contest, including technical failures on the part of contest software, virus, website down-time, human error or property damage incurred by any contest entrant.
