I had just come home from work and was seating dinner when I saw a fire truck pull up between my neighbours and my house. I was all nosey and wondering what was going on at my neighbours house that they would need the fire department. Then three of the fireman started walking towards my house. I immediately ran to the bathroom where my roommate was showering and yelled at her to get out of the bathroom. I walk back to the front door and the firemen told me that there was a gas leak in the area and they needed everyone in the house to evacuate. When we got out of the house, my boyfriend came out from behind the fire truck, in a fireman’s uniform, got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I have never been so surprised and happy in my entire life. I said yes and we are getting married on May 20, 2006.
