Korey took me for a birthday holiday to London, England and Paris, France. We spent two days in London and then took the train over to Paris. Our first day in Paris, we ventured over to the Eiffel Tower. It was getting dark, the lights of the city were coming on, and it started to rain lightly. We took the elevator up to the top of the Eiffel Tower, enjoyed the lights and the view of the city. It was all very romantic. We then took the elevator down to the second level to enjoy the sights some more. It started to rain some more and Korey said he has to go and put on his raincoat. He went around the cornier to put it on, I was standing by the railing enjoying the sights of the city. He come over to me, put his arm around my shoulder. I went to put my arm around his waist and he moved away a bit, laughing. I asked him "what?" He said "nothing" and I didn't think anything of it.

Then, after a few minutes of watching the lights over Paris, he said, "I have a gift for you." I didn't think much of it; thought maybe he bought me something from the gift shop inside. He then said, "It is something you have waited a long time for." At this point the lights went on in my head (as we have been together for almost 13 years, we met when I was 16 and he was 18). I started to cry…he pulled the ring out of his pocket and said "Erin, will you marry me?" I said "yes" between my happy tears…there were some people standing around, some were clapping for us! It was a very romantic and perfect proposal!
