Ad Specifications

Images must be 300 dpi for print.

Colour ads must be CMYK format. RGB images will print incorrectly.

Ads supplied by the client must be a press ready resolution PDF or Macintosh high resolution, Illustrator eps format, all fonts converted to curves and all images and/or graphics support files embedded in your file, or a 300 dpi TIF.

Media for ad files may be on CD, DVD or emailed to ads@derks.ca. All emailed ads must be sent as a Stuffit (.sit) or Winzip (.zip). FTP information available upon request.

A match print of the ad must be received with files two weeks prior to ad deadline to ensure accuracy. If colour is crucial, a suitable colour accurate proof such as a pictro must be supplied. Otherwise, Derks Fine Group of Companies will assume no responsibility for errors.

Images and graphics should not use any form of compression, including (but not limited to) JPEG compression, JPEG encoding, LZW compression, etc.

Any excess production will be invoiced at 10% of the ad cost.

Ad corrections must be done and re-submitted by the advertiser.
