Gail Vaz-Oxlade

rocky mountain romance: dave & jordan

When Dave popped the question, Jordan was completely surprised. He planned an elaborate scavenger hunt on their second anniversary, which ended with Dave proposing in their living room,  and a celebration at the Hotel MacDonald with their families.

Soft colours were key for their wedding. Yellow and ivory created a simple and elegant look, and were a fantastic contrast with the beautiful scenery in the Rocky Mountains. With over 1000 roses for the centerpieces and othe decor, it was breathtaking!

Dave and Jordan had a private Buddhist ceremony. For their Banff wedding, they put a photo from the Buddhist ceremony along with some roses in each hotel room to welcome their guests.

On the morning of July 18, 2009, Jordan and her bridesmaids went for a hike up Mount Norquay before getting their hair done and brunch, while Dave and his guys played golf at the Banff Springs.
