The best part of any wedding day is the moment you get to walk down the aisle and have everyone look at you. You will never feel more glamorous, and have that many eyes on you. It’s the red carpet moment and you want to look your absolute best. With that being said, finding the right dress to suite your glamorous needs can be a nightmare—but it can also be the best part of it all when you finally get that moment to be the star of the show. Trends and styles are always changing and it can be hard to keep up with sometimes, so I’ve been keeping my eye out for all you lucky ladies and I want to help you out! Summer is here but wedding season is all year round so here are the trends, designers, and styles for wedding gowns this year!
Long silk embroidered sleeves and illusion sleeves were all over this year’s Bridal Fashion Week. Designers like Romona Keveza, Hailey Paige created beautiful and elegant dresses with a tasteful plunge V-Neckline to pair perfectly with the sleeves. For anyone having a winter wedding a dress with sleeves go beautifully with snowflakes and frost for those outdoor wedding pictures.
Rhinestone Encrusted Bodices
Instead of your plain clean white bodices, this years statement seems to be tasteful bling with a tulle or full skirt. I think this would be perfect for all my princess brides looking for that extra sparkle. Of course if you’d like something a little less sparkly a silk embroidered corset is still very popular and subtle.
Take The V-Neck Plunge
Deep V-Necks are taking the spotlight for sure this wedding season and there is so much variety with them as well. You can add a lace finish to cover the chest but still have the V-Neck shape, add sleeves to cover your arms but have the chest exposed, and you can even have a strapless deep v as well. This this trend is definitely my favorite.
Swimming In Lace
There is nothing more beautiful and elegant like a bride in lace. Ivory lace gives a wonderful Victorian looking touch, and lets you move gracefully through the day and night. Embroidered lace trains are making a statement this season as well.
Stand Out In 3D Floral
Two words to make a huge pop this year. 3D Floral. Hand embroidered physical flowers are here to bring your dress to life. Whether your train is fully covered in these little flowers or just a simple touch on your bodice these are bound to grab everyones attention. When I say details matter, I really mean it. All my spring and fall brides should try on a 3D floral dress this year.
I hope this helps you on your road to finding the perfect dress!
