HGTV star turns to Nieu Cabinet Doors for Bespoke and Sustainable Kitchen Design

Today Kortney Wilson, HGTV star and Professional Home Stylist, announced the reveal of her kitchen using Nieu Cabinet Doors (NCD) for her own home renovation project.

Kortney remodeled her Kentucky family lake house, bringing the space to life with a modern twist. Kortney, who recently purchased the property, found herself looking for the perfect kitchen cabinet doors to complement her new quartz counters – that once installed highlighted the dated look of the cabinetry.

Not wanting to rip the kitchen apart, Kortney turned to Nieu Cabinet Doors to create her dream kitchen cabinets for $4700 (including doors, drawer faces, hinges). NCD provides high quality, designer looking and sustainable alternative to purchasing entirely new kitchen, bathroom, or laundry room cabinetry through refacing with their range of beautifully crafted door designs.

Designer and Real Estate expert Kortney Wilson was born in Windsor, Ontario Canada, and moved to Nashville Tennessee at age eighteen to try her hand in Music City. She grew up dancing and singing with her eye on a country music career. Within 2 months, she signed a deal with Disney’s country label, Lyric Street Records. She also had a brief stint on ABC’s One Life to Live. Wilson found herself wanting to take a break to start a family in 2001 after marrying husband Dave. While putting their music careers on hold, CMT Canada filmed a reality show called “Meet the Wilsons” where fans watched them adopt a little girl, raise their two boys, and follow their dreams. Their focus changed from music to real estate which led them to borrow all the equity of their house and flip their first property. “I didn’t have money to hire a designer, so I started looking through magazines and googling color schemes to save money. Because I didn’t go to design school, I didn’t feel the need to follow any rules and that worked for me. Quite frankly it still does.” She unlocked a passion for design and determined it was another creative outlet, much like songwriting. Kortney and Dave flipped 125 houses together which led to their HGTV show “Masters of Flip” for six seasons. After separating from Dave in 2019, Kortney took on more real estate flipping and brought her expertise to a new HGTV Canada show, “Making it Home”, which premiered in Jan. 2020. She has also been part of HGTV Canada’s ensemble cast shows “Home to Win” and “Family Overhaul”. She founded Kort&Co in 2019 and continues to grow the line of affordable and stylish furniture and flooring products available across Canada. She also has her own successful real estate team in Nashville and manages to behands-on when it comes to everything she gets behind. No stranger to success, she credits her biggest accomplishment is tackling motherhood and juggling life one day at a time. “The title of mom gives me a run for my money but it’s my favorite hat and the one I wear best.
